Additional Fun Experiences
At Ivy Blossoms Childcare Center, we believe learning should be filled with wonder, discovery, and joy. That’s why we offer so many fun extras — from cooking classes and gardening to petting zoos, dress-up days, and monthly book gifts — all included in your tuition! Only our soccer program and a few special onsite field trips may have a small additional fee. Everything else is part of the rich, engaging experience your child enjoys every day!
Bilingual Studies
Spanish language learning is naturally woven into our daily activities. From songs and stories to simple conversation, children explore new sounds and words in a joyful, playful setting. Early exposure builds curiosity, cultural awareness, and language skills!
Cooking With Kids
Little chefs roll up their sleeves for hands-on fun in our cooking classes. From mixing to measuring, children explore healthy foods and basic kitchen skills in a safe, guided environment. It’s delicious learning that builds confidence and curiosity!
Mindfulness Class
Each week, children participate in a fun, calming movement class designed to help them build focus, balance, and self-awareness. Through gentle stretches, breathing exercises, and playful routines, little ones learn to connect with their bodies and feelings. It’s a joyful way to promote confidence and calm!
Blossom Garden
Our children help tend to a special outdoor garden, planting seeds and watching them grow. Gardening teaches patience, care, and a love for nature. Every sprout is a small victory, and our little gardeners take pride in their work!
Best Kids Soccer
Our soccer class introduces teamwork, coordination, and the joy of active play! Children build motor skills while having fun with friends, practicing kicks, passes, and simple games. It’s a fantastic outlet for energy and a chance to celebrate effort and cooperation.
Petting Zoo
Our petting zoo experience gives children a chance to meet and gently interact with friendly animals. From soft bunnies to curious goats, little ones learn about kindness, responsibility, and the wonder of the animal world. It’s a day full of gentle excitement!
Costume Parade
We celebrate creativity with a delightful costume parade through the complex. Children dress up in favorite costumes and “trick or treat” at local stores that join in the fun. It’s a sweet, community-centered event that’s all about imagination and smiles!
Graduation Party
We honor our five-year-olds with a special graduation event to celebrate all they’ve learned and how much they’ve grown. Families join us as we cheer on our proud graduates. It’s a joyful milestone filled with smiles, songs, and happy memories!
Project Days
Children love to share their creativity during project presentations, like our exciting letter box project. These activities build confidence in speaking, sharing, and expressing ideas. Every child gets a chance to shine!
Take a Book Home
Each month, we introduce a brand-new story during group reading time. Every child receives a personal copy of the book to take home and enjoy with family. It’s a wonderful way to build a love of reading and a growing library of favorites!
Theme Dress Up Days
From Old Lady/Old Man Day to silly hats and superhero capes, our theme dress-up days bring tons of laughter! These fun celebrations let children express themselves and enjoy the magic of pretend play. Each day is a chance to build community and joy.
